MONEY SAVER:: Finding deals and saving bills!

I'm not sure if i have a gift for finding deals everywhere i go or if i am just lucky! Everyone knows Walmart has some pretty low prices! The good thing about this local store is once in awhile or recently a lot of the time you can find some pretty awesome stuff there! They are sticking with the trends when it comes to clothes and also house hold things! If you wanna stick with the trends or just like what is trendy right now then most likely you can save some extra cash by just getting it at a not so popular store! Many of the things you can find at Walmart you can also find at more expensive places that will charge you lots more and will look almost the same! Don't look at the name on the tag really no one cares where you buy your stuff and if you think people may then you should really look within yourself and think of why you would care!

I love love love Tea Light Wax Melters they are awesome! They make the whole room (and further) smell so good! Usually the wax can cost anywhere from six bucks a pack but at Walmart i found them on sale one day for 99 cents! You can reuse them a couple times and put them in a storage container when you want to switch out for a different smell! It's a great gift for any woman of any age! Everyone loves candles and this is a new (safer in ways) way of having a candle without a flame!

Oh my guilty pleasure is animal print! This WHOLE bathroom set was just $15 bucks! Pretty good deal if you ask me! They have a really cute selection too if animal print isn't your style!

Told ya i like animal print haha! These cute throw blankets are so awesome! They stay soft after washing them many times! They are pretty thin but they do the job! Both of these were $2 bucks each which i thought was a pretty great deal! Not only are they cozy to cuddle with but when you put them on they back of your couch they make a pretty good flare of decor!

Walmart has the cutest clothes for ANY age! These shirts are super super and i got them for $12 bucks! If search you can find super cute stuff! People are always surprised when i say i got some of my clothes at Walmart!

Here are some more clothes i picked up one day! I hate to spend money on PJ's LOL but i found these two super cute polka dot shorts both $3 bucks! The two shirts with the butterflies on them are actually the back of the shirt! The whole top part of your back is the butterfly it's a super cute shirt, i am short so it is more of a tunic for me they were both $12 bucks! Then you see three different tank tops! All three of them were $4.88 and you can wear them with anything! Then i got a pair of shorts with a peace sign on them, they are super cozy and were $3 bucks! I love getting more for your money! Take your time and look around the store you will be surprised at what you find!

Here are some super cute kiddie clothes! My daughter will start preschool this September so i got her a back pack to get used to carrying around! She also likes to bring her toys around to stores we got too so i got it for her so she can feel like she has a purse and won't get tired of carrying it $10 dollars! Both outfits were $12 bucks and have a top and also shorts with them, the top is silk and looks so fancy on! Both bathing suits were around $6 dollars and are so cute i wish i could wear them! They also have a great section on T shirts! I got my baby boy a sponge bob shirt for $3 dollars!

I was so excited to see these egg on Easter! I mean REALLY excited! My daughter loves animal print as much as me and she just went banana's when she saw these! How cool are they?

Welp that is all for now, this was a super quick blog post to give everyone so helpful ideas of looking nice for summer but also being able to save money and not worry about what name brand it may be! In the end you will come to notice that you will have a full closet and didn't have to spend so much!  I hope everyone thinks of some of their own creative ways to look trendy without spending a arm and a leg! Do you bargain hunt for clothes? What are some nice outfits you came up with?

CRAFT: Baby shower or gift idea for the new bundle of joy

There is nothing better then doing and completing your own craft! I find it so gratifying to give someone a gift so personal and so from the heart! Recently i decided to try out a craft idea and make my friend (and soon to be beautiful daughter) a cute flower basket which is filled with baby onesies! I figured it was a great way to give a gift that a baby needs while making the gift look fancy and unique! I am all about being different so i love to do special things for friends while putting my own unique twist on it!! Below i will post pictures of the finished product and also explain how you can make this cute baby shower/ gift idea yourself! Any questions please feel free to comment I will be glad to help!

Make a baby Onesie Bouquet craft!

 Instructions

1.  Purchase some baby onsies (it seems the smaller the better). The solid color ones are best but i decided to go with different onesies with cute sayings so my "flowers" aka onesies were all different colors. For a girl, choose white and pink onsies. For a boy, choose blue and white onsies, or all white.

2. Once you have your onesies it's time to make them look like flowers. To make the "roses," take each onesie and fasten the snaps at the bottom. Then, fold the sleeves in and roll it up from the side so that you have a long, thin tube. Fold the tube in half so that you have two rolled ends on top and the fold at the bottom.

3. Tape the onesie using floral tape. Floral tape will not leave sticky marks on the fabric! How awesome?! I bought my floral tape at "Micheal's craft store" get the clear or white kind! Start at the folded end of the onesie and tape it together. You should only need to loop the tape around once or twice but i did it a couple times around because the tape didn't seem to stick so good!

4.  Take some ribbon and wrap it around the floral tape on the onesie and tie the ribbon into a bow. I added this little flare to the craft not only to cover up the eye sore aka floral tape but to also make sure the onesies don't unfold! You can get a whole roll of ribbon at the dollar store!

5. Prepare the basket. Line it with pretty tissue paper. (If your basket isn't lined with a nice inside) Save some paper to use as filler ( if your basket has extra space to fill after everything is complete).

6. Place the folded end of the onsie in the basket, so that the rolled ends are sticking up. Then, fold the rolled ends down so that they give the appearance of roses.

7. Continue to fold and fill the basket with the onesies. Use wadded-up tissue paper in between the onsies to keep them standing upright. If you use a lot of onesies you will not have this problem. I personally did not have to fill in spots with tissue paper.

8. Place fake flowers in between the onesies (you can buy fake dollars at the dollar store) I had to cut the stem of the flower to the height of the basket and around the height of the onesies, or, for a boy, place some cute rubber balls or stuffed animals in between the onesies. Tie a ribbon on the handle and add a gift tag.

EXTRA TIPUse rolled-up baby socks for tiny rosebuds in between the onsies. I personally did not use this idea because i used 9 onesies and had enough space filled.

SUPPLIES:

  • Small basket
  • Fake flowers
  • Tissue paper
  • Ribbon
  • Floral tape
  • 5-pack (or more) of newborn or 0-3 month size onesies

  • I hope you enjoyed this simple way to be crafty and make a friend smile! There are so many nice unique, crafty things you can do without spending a arm and a leg price wise! When you see the finished product i am sure you will be proud of yourself! What do you think of this craft? What do you think could be added to make this craft even better? Would you use this craft idea for a baby shower?

Fashion: Nothing like a little accessory! 3/3

Having some nice and sometimes flashy jewelry or accessory can go a long way! You can take a plain outfit and jazz it up and make it pop with just the right amount of jewelry! Some say no amount is too much, when i see the girls on Jerseylious i agree they pull it off but personally and a lot of the times some people just don't. If i have a over the top necklace on i won't wear earrings! This of course is just my opinion on what i think looks good. I'll post all the pictures below bigger so you can see them! All where bought at a local mall in Philadelphia called Franklin Mills and everything was for a dollar or UNDER!

Here we have a cute animal print bracelet, i am a HUGE fan of animal print i could go as far to say i am obsessed (haha. Then there are two different hair bands which many may feel is a little too childish but i feel the need to bring them back into style in my twenties, not sure if this is a good idea! Last is a cute little lightening bolt bobby pin!

Above we have three super cute necklaces! Owls are adorable. I love the new Owl trend that has been catching on! I also love peacock feathers or feathers in general!
Four more cute necklaces! Peals, oh now they are a girls best friend, or at least mine! I may look like pebbles but that is quite alright with me! I like to buy a necklace that can match a lot of my clothes. So i have a animal print, black feathers and then a floral necklaces. Now these necklaces come with a pair of earrings each which is pretty awesome for the price! RIGHT?!

Last we have a cute pair of white father earrings, a wacky green pair of long feather earrings. Then we have two father rings that i find amazing although if you wear them out to a night on the town and go dancing they seem to get damaged easy! Then we have two flower rings and two with pearls!

Above is a close up of my feather ring! Isn't it great? Lastly none of these accessories are fancy in any way. These are all cheap cute things you can wear everyday! Yes they are my real nails!

So what do you feel about these accessories? Would you wear them? Are they your style? What is your favorite accessory to wear and which of these is your favorite?
